one of the things i love about myspace is the slut portal.  you all know the slut portal…you’ll be looking innocently at a friend’s myspace page, then BOOM! in the friends section you see the one photo that doesn’t fit - she’s the slut portal.  usually a black dress showing lots of boob. 

everyone has at least one friend who’s a slut portal.  slut portals are characterized in part by the whoreism described in ‘myspace becomes the scapegoat,’ specifically:

• pics of them making out with other girls
• gratuitous cleavage shots
• pics of simulated fellatio
• comments by a bunch of dudes with their shirts off saying ‘call me honey’

but additionally, slut portals provide portal functionality, meaning they’re a portal to many, many other sluts.  click on one of these girls and you’ll spend hours perusing her friends, who share the same common traits and often have slut duel comment sessions where they go back and forth with pics and one liners.

anyway, just a short tribute to slut portals.  many a day has been lost on myspace because of them.
