so, i got an e-mail today from cnn breaking news about this horse barbaro getting euthanized.  really?  cnn breaking news?  i mean, is it just me, or am i missing something.  it’s still a horse, right?  like a horse, that you make jello and glue out of?  like, the little chunky dark pieces in doggy treats?

I mean, how’d you like to be one of these other stories?  child molester gets 150 years.  that’s important right?  not as important as barbaro - imagine telling these two 12 year old kids that got molested, yeah, justice was done, and that’s important…but not as important as barbaro.

and what else didn’t make it to the front?  brandy could face charges in deadly crash?  moesha charged with vehicular manslaughter?  that’s front page news right?  well, i guess they can only have one horse pic up per day on the front page.

anyway, there’s the other vid i saw today of the tyra banks show.  the only stuff i’ve heard or seen about this show so far was tyra going crazy about vaseline, but this show was actually pretty entertaining.

basically, it was about this girl autum, who’s boyfriend shaun ‘is addicted’ to world of warcraft, and doesn’t pay attention to their baby.  it first starts off with tyra and this psychologist talking to autum about the problem.  they show videos of the baby crying, and shaun just sitting there playing WOW. 

then tyra and the psychologist start rubbing it in pretty deep, asking questions like “how does it feel to be neglected for a game?“  they probably asked variations of that question like 10 times.

so, autum tells us that shaun mostly sleeps on the couch, plays wow for 20 hours a week, and doesn’t really have time for her or the baby.  she says he didn’t pay as much attention to her after the baby because she got all fat.  and then tyra gets all indignant saying how autum is a beautiful woman and how tyra won’t let that be an excuse for her boyfriends.  a couple problems with this argument tho:

1.  not everyone can go on the coke diet like tyra

2.  this girl does look like she gained some weight.  i mean, she doesn’t look bad per se, i mean, she’s not like, a fat pig, but she looks like someone got a picture of a decent looking white girl and stretched it without preserving the ratio, so it just gets stretched horizontally, not proportionately.  so her whole body just seems really wide.

3.  if this girl spent half as much time exercising as she does putting in highlights, she would not be that fat.  now, i don’t know a lot of hair styles or anything, but this girl’s hair was super fancy - even i know that takes a long time.  she looks like she’s addicted to the salon.  and what’s her baby doing then, sitting in a bucket of astringent?  n-please.

anyway, so they bring shaun out.  he gives the SIDS defense, in other words, he’s afraid of sudden infant death syndrome.  the dr. calls BS, and i think that is pretty true.  i mean, clearly this guy really does like WOW.  just admit it.  fat wife and kid are not necessarily as interesting as WOW.

near the end of this segment is tyra taking ‘drastic measures.’  her and the dr. are all like, ‘are you willing to take the steps that need to be taken?’  and tyra gets ALL proud of herself and unveils the solution - a shredder.  and she’s going off about how this shredder will shred cds, dvds, video games, etc…this is clearly her best idea EVER.  i’m surprised she didn’t get on the floor like she did with vaseline.

anyway, so they give autum a disc to shred, and she does, and the audience cheers.  she does another one.  then shaun does one.  i mean, how many wow discs do they have?

and of course the great irony is that WOW is online, so you don’t really need the CDs, and two, even if you did that shit was already on his computer.  and tyra and the dr. and autum are all happy and autum hugs shaun.  sooo funny.

i mean, there are several takeaways.  first, and this is no surprise, these talk shows are such a joke.  they dress up a doctor and stick a bunch of women in an audience to tyra can save people’s lives.  obvious, right.

second tho, they vilify this guy, but i think it’s autum who needs talking to.  i mean, clearly shaun isn’t doing a great parenting job - but him and autum aren’t married (they’re bf/gf), he really has no obligation to do anything for her.  it’s her fault for having a kid with this guy who doesn’t give two shits about her or the baby. 

i mean, i can think of a lot of reasons for screwing over your wife and kids - alcohol, drugs, gambling, strippers - but world of warcraft?  i mean, please, this guy just really does not care.  it’s not an addiction, he just likes playing video games more than spending time with his wife and kid, and that is that.  this is an example of EXACTLY why god created abortions.

she had the kid because maybe he would be a good dad, and maybe he loved her, and maybe they would get married, etc.  but if she’s relying on that many maybes, then she doesn’t have a right to bitch when it turns out the answer is maybe NOT.

god, these daytime shows are becoming like some sort of feel good responsibility shucking cult where irresponsible women are put up on the sympathy pedestal and worshiped by hoards of fat bitches who have already ruined their lives doing the same thing and want some redemption for their useless existence.

Btw, here’s another interesting site that was on digg.  it’s the faces of meth addicts, before and after.  Is it me or does this woman look like sideshow bob?  i guess the deal is that, among other things, meth makes to scratch your skin, hence the red splotches, and it gives you acne.  also, it apparently allows you to be much more liberal at the salon.

 and how about this guy.  xtine says peyton mannings head looks like a penis, but meth has made this guy into a walking tool.
