Last night Barry Bonds homered in the first inning to bring himself one homer away from Hank Aaron’s all time record.  He was walked at every appearance for the rest of the night.

The Giants are at home, playing today and Sunday.  Then they’ll be on a week-long road trip to southern california, before returning back home.

I’m hoping that Barry breaks Aaron’s record at home, where fans will actually appreciate it…and, well, be happy for him.  He’s had a pretty hard time when on the road…and sure, they’re the whole ‘roids thing, but he should at least get some love for his record, no?
