Wonder Years Chick: "Smart is cool"
From CNN.com. Remember that girl who played Winnie on the Wonder Years? Her name is Danica McKellar, and she wants to tell you something: “Smart is cool.” Said McKellar, “When girls see the antics of Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan, they think that being fun and glamorous also means being dumb and irresponsible…”
I guess Winnie, but you’ve been slutting it up yourself recently in Stuff, no? I mean, sure, you’re a Mathematician, but really, that centerfold is furthering your acting career more than women’s rights.
And for the record, how do we know you haven’t been coked out with fire crotch ablaze? We don’t know, because unlike Lohan, the media doesn’t care about 32 year old Winnie.
McKellar’s upcoming book, Match Doesn’t Suck, is designed to encourage to get girls into math. I wonder if it tells them how to make a career out of math? I mean, assuming you’re not living off Wonder Years royalties.

Winnie > Lohan
No way around it. Smart isn’t cool. Smart is freakin’ hot.
She solved a complex math theorum in college and the solution is named after her. Sort of blows your stereotype of the stupid portagee out of the water, huh? Also, she’s hot. Way hotter then Lohan. And I have a thing for redheads, and still, I say Winnie is hotter. Mainly because she’s smart.
I liked her when she was in West Wing. I bet you a dollar that the professor had her work on the paper because she’s hot and famous…come on man, you know how academia works.
I don’t get her. She dropped off the map in her late teens - right when she should have been blowing up.
And it’s not like she was doing math the whole time. She was in a bunch of shows, like, according to Wiki, Babylon 5, Walker, Texas Ranger, Love Boat: The Next Wave. What happened?
She may be smart, but not smart enough to realize that her Stuff spread came a decade too late to help her career.
Tip for teen acresses: If you don’t slut it up when you turn 18 YOU WILL FALL OFF THE FACE OF THE EARTH. Unless you know how to do math…then people will start blogging about you when you’re 30.
