Today’s Woot! is the 3rd Generation iPod Nano for a LOW $135. Buy.com is selling these things for $189 - so it’s not a bad deal at all.
3rd Gen iPod Nanos can play video and also have the slick coverflow interface. Of course you’ll have to work with iTunes, which is an absolute POS…but hey, $135 - can’t complain.

I paid $600 for my 8GB iPhone 9 months ago. If I waited until today, I could have picked one up from AT&T for $250. Asshole.
If you don’t have one yet, now’s your chance. Really…I mean, it’s not gonna get cheaper than this. I don’t think.
Sure, it’s refurbished, but I’ve never had a problem with a refurbished tech item. I got quite a few refurb computers, monitors and AV equipment over the years, and actually they turned out fine.
At the very least, you know that whatever was wrong with the device has been fixed…and most likely the device was thoroughly tested.

J&R is having a sale on the Sandisk Titanium 4GB flash drive. I have one of these things and it rocks. The casing is solid, so you can just attach it to your keychain. Also, the USB part slides into the casing so it’s protected. Also, this thing is tiny…it barely weighs anything and you won’t even notice it on your pocket.
For $25, this is a steal.

This is a great deal…big time. You know Microsoft Office? That $500 software suite that EVERYONE uses? Well, it’s now available for only $60, from…guess who? Microsoft!
And this isn’t the crippled student and teacher edition…it’s the ULTIMATE edition with all sorts of goodies like Publisher and Access and Groove.
The catch? You need a .edu email address. I got some kid at work who just graduated to get a copy for me, and it worked flawlessly. I even was able to use my own credit card.
And the best part is that you don’t have to wait for a CD. You just download the software (it’s 500MB, so it takes a while) and then you input your product key. That’s it.
They say you may need to prove that you took at least 5 credits in the last semester…but that’s BS. I have my software now.
Check it out. Prices good till April 30.

Honestly, I like this idea. You have a little video device, then put on these glasses…and boom, 60″ inch screen. Imagine the usage scenarios, on the plane, at work, on the john…huge video screen anywhere.
The downside, you look like a tool…and people WILL, without a doubt make fun of you. Like, really? Video glasses? Come’on dude…next you’ll be have your own horde on WoW. I don’t even know what that means, actually.
Anyway, these things are usually like $500, which is a LOT considering how ridiculous they look. But woot has them now for only $99…the only catch, they’re only compatible with 5th Generation iPods.
But I’d really like someone who’s tried these out to let me know how they are. I’ve never seen anyone use them, and I want to know if the picture is really as cool as described.

Much to the chagrin of mexicans everywhere, the Roomba robotic vacuum is not on sale for only $99 at Woot.com. Both Keri and I have one of these guys and they’re really neat and you don’t have to worry about them stealing.
Sure, they don’t work as well as a human…but given how convenient they are, it’s difficult to complain.
The one on Woot is also a scheduler, meaning you can just set it to automatically clean your house. Imagine that…you know you want one.

I loooooove computers. Especially when you get a brand new one and it’s not all fucked up with tons of crap on the desktop and spyware and viruses and stuff.
So, go over to HP now and get yourself a new laptop…and save $400 by using coupon code NB0400.
Sure, you don’t need a laptop right now…so apply for HP financing as well…90 days without any payments. It’s like you’re buying a computer for May.
I picked up a tx2000 tablet. Pretty neat, huh?
Who knows how well this tablet stuff works, but my ex just got one and there is no way she’s gonna have a better computer than me.
So check out HP’s website…coupon expires on March 6.

This is a pretty nice deal. You can now get a 4GB Sandisk Cruzer Titanium USB flash drive for only $25 at JR.com. I have one of these, and it works great. It’s very durable, and I have no problems just keeping it on my keychain in my pocket. You also get some software that lets you load skype on the drive or sync files.
And 4GB is pretty sweet…that’s enough storage for a bunch of music or several downloaded movies.

Woot.com is selling a 16 piece John Daly set of clubs for only $129.99 pllus $5 shipping. The shipping alone makes this set worth while.
You get a titanium driver, woods with graphite shafts, stainless steel woods, and head covers for all woods.
The set includes a golf bag with a built-in stand.
I barely golf…but I know this is a decent deal. Check it out!

Time is offering a 59 issue subscription to the magazine for only $20. Plus, you get a free laser level, and an additional $5 discount if you pay immediately via credit card or PayPal.
Plus, since this is from Time itself, your subscription starts in 1 to 3 weeks, not the 8 weeks that online magazine subscription stores usually require.

Anyone who owns an iPhone knows the headset jack doesn’t work with just any pair of headphones - you need a special adapter to use your current headsets or purchase an entirely new pair designed for the iPhone.
Well, this little 75 cent adapter enables you to use any 3.5mm headset with your iPhone. It’s also very flexible, so you don’t have to deal with a big plug sticking out of your device.
Even if you have an iPhone headset, this is nice to have when you use your iPhone at the gym, for example, and don’t want to get your nice pair all messed up. Try it out.

Have a Blu Ray player? Or a PS3? Or did your wonderful girlfriend get you one for xmas? Well, now’s a perfect time to stock up on Blu Ray discs - there are tons of holiday sales going on.
Right now Amazon is having a buy one get one free special on a bunch of titles. This is a great deal that makes the net price per movie just around $10. Plus you get free shipping.
I just picked up Letters from Iwo Jima and Goodfellas…there are lots more great titles there. P.S. TKFKAK tells me she’s always wanted Purple Rain on Blu Ray. Keep that in mind El Jeffe.

Footaction is having a pretty good 50% off after christmas sale. I picked up some running shoes for a great price. Fleece is also on sale.
And Eddie Bauer is having a decent sale as well, with up to 50% off men’s and women’s clothing/outerwear, bedding and bags.
You might as well stop by L.L. Bean’s winter sale as well. I can’t really tell the difference between L.L. Bean and Eddie Bauer, actually.
J&R is having a 3 day electronics sale this weekend, with free shipping on lots of items as well. The link goes to the sale page…not bad
Ever heard of Piperlime? It’s an online shoe store run by Gap Inc., but it has all sorts of brands. Their holiday sale is on…I haven’t ordered from these guys yet, but they’re worth a look.
And finally, you can get 40% off a single item at Barnes and Noble online when you use your mastercard. Use coupon code: "X8X9X3K".
